One of the important areas she touches on here is how polio funding is running short and it could be and second disease wiped off the planet.  Her vision of happiness is holding a happy baby in one’s arms.  The bottom line message here is learning how we can better world healthcare with some techniques used to market products, as it is all rolling together and priorities are a must.  There’s nothing wrong with wanting a Coke if it brings happiness, but can eradicating polio also bring happiness (sure it would) and how to get the word out and convey this message.  If you have not seen the work of the foundation and how it works, watch this video at the link below and see how Melinda Gates works, very fascinating and using intelligence to make a difference.   She discusses a little bit of everything to include the importance of toilets today too.

At TEDxChange, Melinda Gates makes a provocative case for nonprofits taking a cue from corporations such as Coca-Cola, whose plugged-in, global network of marketers and distributors ensures that every remote village wants -- and can get -- a Coke. Why shouldn't this work for condoms, sanitation, vaccinations too?
